What is AI Junction?
AI Junction brings browser-based AI chat and image creation together with Conductor, a free, open-source desktop workspace for coding with the providers and tools you choose.
What is Conductor?
Conductor is a local-first desktop workspace for coding agents. It brings projects, conversations, provider connections, approvals, terminal, Git, delegation and scheduled tasks into one app.
Which providers can Conductor use?
Conductor supports ChatGPT Pro, Muse Code Pro, Google AI Pro, OpenCode Go, OpenRouter, AI Junction and compatible local models. Available models and capabilities vary by provider.
Do I need an API key?
No. You can use supported subscription connections, bring an OpenRouter key, connect an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, or use a local model. AI Junction credits are optional for managed models.
Can Conductor work with my local projects?
Yes. The desktop app works with folders on your computer, can search and edit project files, opens a real terminal, and includes Git changes, diffs and checkpoints. Local project data stays on your machine.
Can I delegate or automate work?
Yes. Delegate from supported providers to configured models, build budget-capped orchestration graphs, or schedule tasks and start them with a webhook. You choose their approval and write permissions.
Are file changes reviewable?
Conductor shows diffs in the conversation, supports reviewing changes, and saves Git checkpoints before turns in Git projects. Provider capabilities differ, and approval rules are visible and revocable.
What platforms are available?
Conductor 1.0.0 is available for Windows, macOS and Linux. The macOS universal build supports Apple silicon and Intel and is signed and notarized.
How do AI Junction credits work?
Credits pay for managed model usage. Prices and usage are shown in the app; the balance is shared between web and desktop. You can also use Conductor without an AI Junction subscription.
Can I manage a subscription online?
Yes. Your account shows your balance, usage and purchases. Use Manage subscription to update payment details, view invoices or cancel through the secure billing portal.
Where is my data stored?
Conductor keeps project data, conversations and settings on the desktop machine. The browser workspace stores its conversations in that browser. Provider requests are sent to the provider you select.
